Hi. We've got a combi boiler and no shower. Our water pressure is pretty variable, particularly the hot. We are desparate to have a shower fitted, and were trying to choose between a 10.5kw electric, and a shower pump (electric obviously being cheaper). We've just found something called a thermostatic pumped shower - any ideas what it is, how good it is and whether it can be used with a combi? Or any helpful hints and suggestions...

If you have a combi boiler you can drive a shower directly and you cannot use a pump.

Unfortunately you have not given the make and model of your combi and the best advice will be only be given when its identified.

My advice is not to use a thermostatic shower with a combi but some will work but it depends on the combi.

Quote the model and the others here will probably give you some advice. I only occasionally help on this site now.
