Hi,

I just saw your post and wondered if it could be the same problem as I had on my 7 year old Friendly Format 80. It was eventually traced to the DELAY jumper on a recently replaced PCB being set to OFF (the factory default). When set correctly to ON there is a delay to allow the boiler to cool down between firings when is at max temperature.

Also has anyone had a problem with the hot water being low pressure, luke warm and only coming on when the boiler is supplying CH on the winter setting? In my case the fault lay with a badly perished diaphragm in the diverter valve. I do live in a relatively hard water area (Shropshire)

Hope this all helps
