I need to bring my new underground drainage out of the floor for a new toilet to go into.
can i just run a small piece of pipe out the ground or does it need to be a pipe with a socket on?
If this new toilet is at the head of the foul line, a stub stack with air admittance valve may be beneficial. We wouldn't want that good old fashioned sucking noise pulling any traps. Or the possibility of the toilet not flushing correctly because it has no air flow.
