Hi,
I am replacing the skirtings in my house with 6" taurus boards, but cant find a saw capable of cutting mitres on 6"skirting boards. Can anybody advise please? Either hand saw or electric will be acceptable, but at a reasonable price as this is only for DIY project.
Thanks.

If you mean diagnally across the 6" skirting then i make that about 220mm so any slider with 220mm+ capacity should do it

6" skiting will be around 145mm wide as 6" is the pre moulded stock size

just lay it flat on the saw and lean the blade to the correct angle

Er , make a mitre box. If you feel you're are able to replace all the skirtings in your house then a box should be well within your capabilities.
