I have had my PACE box for just over a year. I cannot now access my recorded programs or record new programs. Have tried resetting the system. Any thoughts?

it's broken ? Sounds like the HDD has crashed, at least I think they use HDD's ?
 
Have a search on the net, apparrently there are quite a few hacks that can be used like installing bigger hard drives etc. Also should tell you how and what to install as a suitable replacement.

You have probably tried this already, but have you tried unplugging the system for a few moments? I don't have Sky+ but my Sky box has crashed about twice in the last year, required unplugging to return it to full functionality.

Sky+ does indeed use harddisk drives. HDD crashes are very rare, but not out of the question.

Ring Sky, after all you are paying £10 a month or getting a premium service in order to support the box you paid £200 for, you deserve decent service.
