hi guys

can anyone put their finger on this for me ?????

new heater and thermal cut out fitted as it was not heating the water up. that all went well but when i came to test it, it all went pear shaped
although i cant be certain if it wasn't doing the following before i got there.

power on, set cycle, shut door then it will go into drain mode 3 times then throw up error 6. no drain apparently !!! poured a bucket of water in the sump and it does drain.

sump float switch seems ok.

not sure about the pressure switch ???
could this cause my symptoms ??

i also cant seem to do the reset everyone seems to recommend by pressing the mode button 4 times withing 3 seconds. does this indicate a pcb fault ????

heeeeellllpppppp !!!!!!

E6 usually boils down to one of the following:
Pump blocked/defective, faulty pressostat, drain hose kinked/blocked or not positioned correctly, wiring issue, pcb shot. A process of elimination I'm afraid

thanks zipper
what are you calling the pressostat ? is that the pressure switch ?

it cant be the pump or hose as iv poured a bucket of water in there and its drained ok.

im going back on friday to play with it again
what a load of smeg !!!!!!

thanks
