Solar Panel (s)

Heat bulbs?

Is that the type with alcohol like liquid which boils and condenses on the header and runs back as a liquid?

As with most things in life. You get what you pay for.

Contact the Solar Trade Association and they can give you names and addresses of qualified, properly trained Solar Installers.

I did. And am very pleased with the performance. :

Not always. With lack of understanding you pay over the odds and get ripped off. Take a Ferrari for example. Would you buy one considering 40 percent of the cost is for the name alone ?.
Same with installers. They register them selves with money grabbing organisation's (only interested in feathering their own nests) for extortionate sums of money and then expect consumers to fork out to cover this. I think not.
Solar is diyable and as such makes it a viable option for many people.
The navitron site is full of people who have diyed their systems. Happy days. Power to the diyer.
