stainless or chrome switches

Anyone have a preference to which light/plug sockets to buy. I saw some chrome polished switches the other day on offer at Wickes. Will these be less scratch resistant than stainless?

If you get polished chrome, get some micro fibre cloths too.

They are good at polishing finger marks off the chrome, which you will want to do daily.
