l have a Peugeot 306 Turbo diesel (1.9 1997 R plate) prior to this l had Vauxhall Corsa diesels. The clutch pedal in the Peugeot seems to be much harder to depress than the Vauxhall, to such an extent that by the end of the working week l have knee ache!
l have had the clutch cable replaced, as when l first had the car the pedal would on occasions remain in the depressed position, this has now been rectified. l have also recently taken the car to a clutch specialist who stated that this was the case for most Peugeot's and that having the clutch replaced would not make a great deal of difference to the clutch pedal.
l would be extremely grateful if anyone has any other ideas or experience in this area.
