'Rocks 1' gave me some useful advice last week unfortunately I still haven't fixed the problem with my Zanussi WDT1085 Washer Drier.

The programme knob just turns without advancing the programmes. When I turn the metal shaft that pokes out of the programme box(?) and to which the programme knob is attached, I can advance the programmes manually but the Timer Knob Cam Disc (orange plastic) still turns freely. Obviously it is not attached properly to the metal shaft. I've been trying to remove the cam disc to replace it but can't manage it.
Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the Timer Knob Cam Disc?
