hi , ive just had an ideal icos fitted and the heating and hot water are working ok , however in the middle of the night it will start banging even when the programmer is set to off on both heating and hot water , the display allways shows "c" which says in the book that CH is being supplied and it never goes to "0" meaning standby where i feel it should be . the radiators are not hot but the boiler is usually allways warm and the burner light which is on constant when in demand , flashes constantly when it isnt , which is something i cant find any info about in the manual
on another note a spirovent was fitted above the boiler on the return ,but it is a vertical one fitted to horizontal pipework which is being changed at the end of this week , could this cause the problem ? any ideas gratefully recieved thx
