Hello folks
I have a Stuart Turner Showermate 1.8 bar standard twin shower-pump feeding a mixer shower in my bathroom. It is three years old.
It has been running rough and stuttering on start-up. I phoned Stuart Turner’s helpline and told them the symptoms and they suggested that the starter capacitor is faulty and need replacing. The problem is that they want £30 for it
I isolated the power and removed the lid to look at the capacitor to see if I can source a replacement myself.
It is a 7µF Inco branded capacitor; here’s a picture:
The after much Googling the closest match I could find is this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-7u...yers_Parts_Accessories_ET&hash=item3a6729c3b0
Is this a suitable replacement? The specs seem to match somewhat.
Thanks for your help.
