SWA Armoured Cable Alternative?

Just another option I have figured having done a bit of research on the forum, would galvanised steel conduit be a safe and approved method of protecting flex (with the conduit earthed)? Despite the cost of steel conduit, it would still be cheaper than SWA as three of the runs of cable would run together in one tube. Appreciate any feedback on this option.

USING SWA WILL BE THE EASIEST OPTION
This is my thoughts too. Its not actually that expensive (look at TLC Elec, etc) and is fairly flexable. If you hacking off the render from the house and re-rendering you can also knock a bit of brick out to allow the cable to bend within the profile of the render.

Thanks for all the advice and I'm not arguing with any of it. I wouldn't be on this forum asking questions if I wanted answers which "I want to hear".
Then stop keep behaving as if "use SWA" is not the answer you want to hear.

Really?

Even including the price of the tools to thread the ends of sections of it?

The total run from the RCD inside the house would be 14 metres.
And did you price up the size of conduit you'd need to use to be able to get 3 cables into it?

Basically EViS you need to get an electrician, you really do.

You seem to think you can tackle this job by finding out the things you think you need to know by asking random questions as and when they occur to you.

But you can't, you really can't.
