Hi All,

I am looking at getting a Texecom Premier Elite 48 for my home & wanted some independent advice on two areas.

Outside of the extra cost is there a downside to using Dual Tech motion sensors rather than Quad Pir inside my home? I have already decided to go Dual Tech for the garage.

I want to hard wire both of the Odyssey X3 bellboxes to the front and rear of the property rather than use the wireless ones that several installers have recommended. Going wired will require a little more work now but I am of the opinion to hard wire where possible as I am a bit old school and also do not want the hassle of having to change the batteries every couple of years especially as I do not do ladders.

Thanks

The only issue with 2 Odyssey X is power, but a 1A in line fuse to the DC terminal and you can run both units in SAB, and not one in SAB and the other in Low current.
