Tile grout protecting

In my bathroom the plumbing is all boxed in and I`ve just tiled the top of the box with those mosaic tiles that come in sheets. Now I have grouted them but am wondering if there are any varnish type products to paint over the tiles and grout to stop them getting stained as the tiles will be used as a shelf for toothbrushes etc
