I have an inline water heater that has a pressure release valve on the top. For years it has been fine but recently I have increased the pressure on the system. The release valve is set at 6 bar and is now constantly letting water out. Is there a device for reducing pressure? I saw this one in screw fix

but I am concerned it will not handle a pressure over 6 bar.

Does anyone know if such a device will reduce pressure above 6 bar to below 6 bar?

Many Thanks

Pressure reducing valves will handle 20 to 25 bar inlet pressure, depending on make.
Most are adjustable down to between 6 bar and 1 bar.
