Tumble dryer in the shed

another thing to consider
using your machine other than according to the manufacturers installation instructions
would this invalidate your house insurance if it caught fire ??

In the unlikely event a fire happened in my shed then I could swallow the financial loss if insurance did not cough up and it's too far away from anything else for the fire to spread to be a danger to anyone else. Thanks for the heads up though.

Another thing to think about is that the warmth will encourage various creatures to take up residence in the shed. Not too bad if it's just spiders and the cat, but other possibilities include rats, mice, illegal immigrants...

Our tumble drier is in the garage (adjoined to house). Although no major issues with this, you will find that in extermely cold weather the clothes take extra time to dry than normal and if left in there for any time afterwards they will start to go damp.

Our washing machine in the unheated scullery froze last winter, for the first time in 30 years. It thawed out after a while and has worked perfectly since.

suspect he means 11 seconds into the video :D :?: :?:
Ah, I see - yes! Thanks. However, the shed was 'very well ablaze' (and well able to set fire to the house) before that explosion - which, as BAS has said, one imagines was most probably due to a gas cylinder, petrol, weedkiller, paint/solvents or somesuch.

Kind Regards, John
