We recently bought a house which has a Mira Sport 8 electric shower (with the date 1991). We are looking to update this and would like a 9.5-10.8kW electric shower to increase the flow. From my research I understand it will require a larger cable (10mm).
My question is how big a job will this be.
Is the cable only to the pull cord on/off switch (at the bathroom door) or does it have to go all the way to the fuse board?
I will be getting a professional in, just wanted an idea of the size of job and associated mess!

everything will need to be checked if it comes up to spec.

the cable, the pull cord switch and the fuse/board suppling the shower.

ie 45amp is good for 10kw (@230v)
