In a similar vein small appliances in Europe often come with 0.75mm2 flex and a plug that fits a 16 amp socket.
Completely irrelevant to the thread and you know it.

Regardless of what they do in Europe with their unfused plugs and 13A fused plugs in the UK, this thread as started by winny the poo is all about
Using pre installed cooker circuit for 13amp or 16amp oven.

I make my apologies, this thread is not all about
Using pre installed cooker circuit for 13amp or 16amp oven.

This thread is all about an idiot who is too stupid to understand the written word published as a BRITISH STANDARD for the safety of the British people.

A BRITISH STANDARD which has been in force for a century and a document which is being constantly updated to improve the safety of the British public and there are some idiots who think they are technically superior to those professionals who have dedicated so much of their life to the enhancement of that safety.

Or in this particular instance and is too stupid to realise he has contravined wiring regs and created a fire hazard
The so called regs are not statutory. 2.5mm2 cable is rated at up to 27amps and will take much more without catching fire. If 32 amp cooker circuits are so dangerous when a cooker is split into 2 boxes why are they allowed? Why are dual outlet cooker plates allowed?
