Hi everyone,i have just ordered a Vaillant Ecotec combi, ihad a choice between a worcester bosch combi or a vaillant. On the engineers recommendation i went for the vaillant, more litres per min flow etc.I was just wondering if anyone thinks i have made the right choice!!.As i know very little about boilers!!

See the thread asking about the "best combi".
Bad diverter valves in the last two non condensing Vaillant combis have put many people off the make despite them having a good reputation. If there IS a similar weak component you'll hopefully get it fixed in the warranty period, then have a long-lasting boiler.

Thanks for the reply i will check out the best combi thread :D

I've fitted about 12 Ecotecs (Pro) up to now & had no problems with any of them, dead easy to fit & light as well, certanly lighter than the Turbomax which it replaces, best of all is how quiet it is when operating.
