No DHW on demand unless C/H is on. I replaced the diaphragm (it had a hole in it) and now the DHW works on demand on hot water mode. The problem now is that the water is not very hot, even with the thermostat on full. can anyone please advise?

Cheers

Thanks for that Gaz man. don't wanna sound thick but can you give me any idea how i'd check that. If water was passing down diverter would that then increase the pressure on the C/H system and show an increase on the pressure gauge?

nope... wen the system is cold run the hot water and feel the 2 central heating pipes under the boiler and see if they get hot.

As yes suggested Gaz, on turning the tap to demand hot water the CH flow pipe got hot straight away. Does this suggest the diaphragm needs replacing in the diverter valve?
Thanks again.

Replaced all parts that came in service kit (Diaphragms, washers, seals etc.) but heat still transferring down flow pipe when hot tap is opened. I pushed the fulcrum arm at the diverter end and this increased the hot water temperature. Does the spring inside the diverter need changing or could the alloy pivot arm be faulty?

Yes i replaced bobbin and washer. Running out of options.
Thanks for your pointers Gaz.

did you clean the black ****e off both surfaces the bobbin contacts?

It didn't look that dirty, i gave it a good clean but will strip down and try again if it points to that being the problem.
