I have an Electrolux Premier WM1000A I'm trying to replace the bushes on the motor. I've got the cabinet off but can't disconnect the motor electrical connections. Any good descriptive advice or on-line instructions would help

Motor plug/sockets are very tight to disconnect, if it does not have a locking device fitted(small same coloured lever on the side) then you just need to pull hard & wiggle the plug at the same time.

Tell me about it, I finally got all the connections off. Unfortunately I cant get to the nuts to remove the brushes, Argh!!!

The brushes are normally a self contained unit that slide out and have a push on terminal.
