Can anyone explain what is three way electricity supply as to normal electricty supply Thanks Brian

used in factorys etc


but you can get 240V off it, by connecting between one of the phases and neutral

Mains electric is 50Hz sine wave. Take three of these sine waves and send them down three wires 120 degrees out from each other.
