Thanks Conny. Yeah, as a Scout Leader, I am familiar with LH threads. They are both LH on this thing.
Any markings? Well, there's the markings in the brass body of the thing. But they are semi-obscured by the sticker put on the thing.
Aside from the obscured markings, that green sticker reads:
BS EN ISO 2503 then AIR PRODUCTS BRITISH MADE then MODEL 40
On the orange-topped tap is marked PROPANE and 0-4 BAR
On the neck of the thing, just below the tap is 40 PSI then 60 and underneath 20, with two horizontal parallel lines separating the 60 and the 20.
Underneath the thing is a sticker saying:
ISO 9001 QUALITY ASSURANCE PASSED
Nozzle, I never mess with that wot I know nowt about. But if I know what this is and can sell it for my F-I-L then great. If not, no worries.
Burnerman, It came like this BNIB. Possibly bought to connect to a propane canister connected to a static.
