See, one of my previous proffessions prepared me just right for the gas business; 800 programs, 2000 different files and keys, 2000 outstanding bug numbers to remember (and that was just one version), the software games just the same muddle. :LOL:
 
Hmm. If it IS an aluminium alloy (likely to be Al-Si) then it would need to get above 500°C to do that. (Al mp is 660).
A Zinc alloy would be somewhat less, but distinctly warm at 400+.
