Im not sure where you see how Labour have any opportunity to lance a boil perpetuated by the Tory supporting billionaires that have controlled the media for many decades

Eh?

There is data on how each administration has ran the economy going back centuries, for the UK; JohnD posts it every now and again.

Labour do not have to be in power to cite it.

So, why don't they (in a convincing enough fashion to "lance the boil", once and for all)?

Put it another way: if a significant factor in me not getting into government was a misconception / deception, I'd have a whole bloody dept devoted to dismantling it, and would keep bringing it up until it finally sank in.

Yours still does not explain "why there isn't a left-wing MSN."

Unless you're telling me there are no wealthy left-wingers.

Are you saying that, because some are beyond convincing, Labour don't bother to even try with those who might be more amenable?
I don't get how people think they're not two cheeks of the same ar*e, they all take their orders from outside influences.
Do think labour would be different on immigration, climate change, trans rights, taking us back into the eu by stealth, beholden to the Chinese.?

The way I look at it is like this . . . . We have bad capitalism at the moment, but the only alternative is bad socialism. You can sign up & convince as many people as you'd like to support bad capitalism or bad socialism, but the ones who are waiting for good capitalism to break out far outnumber the ones waiting for good socialism, these are the people who decide elections.

Aren't these basically the same thing?
Nope. If you cannot define the difference then you are part of the problem.

Good capitalism works far better than good socialism & the floating voter knows this.

We are legion, but also easily fooled by their lies.

I suspect that this 15 pages of tribal bickering is what the political establishment wants. Vote for the blue mob, get shafted, so vote for the red mob to teach them, get shafted again. Repeat for ever.

Next time I'll be voting for any party that runs a candidate in my area that isn't a member of the political mafia that's taking us all for a ride. Hopefully Reform will have a go, if not then I'll vote for Lib Dem, Monster Raving Loony, absolutely anything other than this shower of halfwitted self-serving parasites that have taken over both parties, mostly with absolutely no real world experience outside of politics.

Politics is only looking after politicians these days, we are just their source of money and power.

There are no wealthy left winger msn owners. Do you think it would be viable to start a new one?

Whether you like it or not, the electorate are pushed daily by the msn into how good the Tories are and how bad the commies are. Note I put commies because labour is branded as commies by the media, and that's picked up on by various people in here as you see.

It's why I say that labour needs to split, call each side what you want, but it needs to differentiate from the extreme left and the centre left. It is a perpetual battle to get some people to even think about not voting conservative, no matter how appalling they currently are. You yourself fit into that category.

Considering how extreme both sides have been (though labour is now less extreme under Starmer), it surprises me that there is not a strong middle ground party. The country is crying out for a non extreme party.

It must be terrible living in Sweden.

I wonder if their hospitals work?
If you think your life would be better in Sweden comrade JohnD'ski, then why did you not never go & live in Sweden?

I have you down as an extreme leftist, a BAD socialist & therefore part of the problem.

Thankfully you don't get to decide elections in the UK. We do.

Is it not possible to look at other countries and see how well or badly they are run as a comparison to ourselves?

Very introverted little englander mentality of not looking and comparing.
