Looks like someone's offended by observations of fact. When someone takes the attitude that you've expressed, in my experience it's because they've something to hide and don't want it being pointed out.
Now, if I'd in fact given any advice in the post you seem to be replying to (which I didn't), and that advice was wrong (which is wasn't because there wasn't anything to be wrong), then you would be perfectly entitled to correct it. Just taking the attitude that "you aren't part of our closed club, you aren't entitled to an opinion" makes it look like you could be one of the bodgers club and don't like the public knowing enough to call you on it.
So, what's your qualification to pontificate ? Your name suggests you aren't a sparky or plumber, and your sig doesn't say anything, which would make it very much "pot, kettle, black - rearrange into well known saying". But then your attitude suggests you are in one of the clubs - and having a look at your recent activities enlightens me, you come across as a "plumber"*. At least I make it clear so that anyone who didn't already know from my previous postings can make their own mind up how much weight to attach to my ramblings.
So, as a "plumber"*, what qualifications do you have to pontificate on electrical safety matters ?
* That's not plumber, but "plumber" - not a complimentary description.
