Wiring centre madness

Well, obviously we don't know but it does have some CPCs used as live which is a well known 'plumbers'' trait.

So, likely done by a heating engineer, then.
Obviously not looking @ that box with all the controls wireing crammed in , as said a sure sign of the 10% of electricians that follow a wiring diagram.
Crammed in ? Looks quite spacious (double box !) compared to what I'm used to seeing

Which quality is possessed by heating engineers that endows them with superior knowledge of electrics than electricians?
Obviously the heating engineers that don't require a wiring diagram not only to install but obviously to fault find , many times us heating engineers get called in when you "electricians" can't find the fault due to not having a clue regards controls wiring and to top it off you have the wiring diagrams to hand and still walk off the job with tail between your legs.
Well that would be the poorly educated ones, but of course, there aren't any poorly educated plumbers either are there ? If there weren't, there wouldn't bee the need for sparkies to sort out their messes.

Personally I don't (as far as practical) employ either trade. I don't know any plumber I'd trust not to make a mess without me supervising to the level that I might as well do the job myself; and I also don't know of an electrician I'd trust AND can afford to employ. I get to see the output from both trades in my day job, I'm often "not impressed". Doing it as a DIY job, I have the luxury of being able to take the time I need to get the standards I want.

Simon H2 as your signature suggests.....You have no standing on such matters nor should you be giving advice within the open forum for that matter. :D

Looks like someone's offended by observations of fact. When someone takes the attitude that you've expressed, in my experience it's because they've something to hide and don't want it being pointed out.

Now, if I'd in fact given any advice in the post you seem to be replying to (which I didn't), and that advice was wrong (which is wasn't because there wasn't anything to be wrong), then you would be perfectly entitled to correct it. Just taking the attitude that "you aren't part of our closed club, you aren't entitled to an opinion" makes it look like you could be one of the bodgers club and don't like the public knowing enough to call you on it.

So, what's your qualification to pontificate ? Your name suggests you aren't a sparky or plumber, and your sig doesn't say anything, which would make it very much "pot, kettle, black - rearrange into well known saying". But then your attitude suggests you are in one of the clubs - and having a look at your recent activities enlightens me, you come across as a "plumber"*. At least I make it clear so that anyone who didn't already know from my previous postings can make their own mind up how much weight to attach to my ramblings.

So, as a "plumber"*, what qualifications do you have to pontificate on electrical safety matters ?

* That's not plumber, but "plumber" - not a complimentary description.
