Wooden back door swelling

The door opens in not out. I will have to put some oil on the top then to seal out the damp.

We have some original cupboard doors upstairs that we had stripped to the bare wood. Ever since they have always had wet patches in the corners and sides that vary. We have a dehumidifier and open the windows and still it seems to keep the moisture. Strange.

I said "especially if it opens out", but it still absorbs moisture.
Same as the wood upstairs, it will always "suck" it in, because it is hydroscopic.
 
The problem isn't that it sticks and needs planing. The width (thickness) of the door swells making the lock barrel out of alignment with it's hole.

Again, will a dehumidifier help ?
