Hi,

I have a Worcester 28CDi RSF Combi that seems to have a leak.
Noticed over the Xmas weekend noticed RAD's being a little cooler and tricking sounds coming from some RAD's (But thought i'd wait till after Xmas before investigating)
This morning no hot water & no heating... looked at boiler and found no presure and damp patch on the floor. Water seems to be coming from the auto air vent on the top of the boiler as there is water stains coming from the top of the boiler and the auto air vent and surounding area is wet.
Do these auto vents leak?
is it likley to be something other than the auto vent? (what)
if it is the auto vent can I buy a replacement? (where from)
How difficult is it to replace the auto vent?
Really could do without having to buy a new boiler, so any help would be much appreciated. ;)
Thanx in advance for any of your comments.

if you loose system pressure the boiler will overheat and emit steam and some water from the auto air vent.re pressurise and check for leaks if the auto is working you will hear it his as the boiler fills if it leaks then it willl require replaceing, check the prv pipe to outside for leaks and all visable joints ,rad valves etc. if you decide to replace it yourself then make sure you replace the cover corectly.
