Hi can anyone offer some advice as to what may be at fault with my boiler? Hot water works fine but heating rarely works, if you run the hotwater tap for a while the heating then starts to work but this trick is not working as often anymore. If you watch the pilot light whilst hot water tap on the boiler fires up fine, once the tap is turned off the pilot light goes back to stand by, then you can hear a solinoid click and if fires back up this happens several times until it gives up, as a result the radiators only just get luke warm. If the heating manages to stay fired up it works fine but once a timing program ends its a lottery as to wether the boiler will fire up for the next program. The only things to be done are a new diverter valve 6mnths ago as had no hot water and also new thermocouple. Any info would be greatley appriciated.
