My Worcester combi boiler 230 fails to ignite, it's a intermediate fault, it can work ok for a couple of day's, then not work for a couple of day's, I have to hit the red reset button to get it back on, anyone know what the problem is?

last winter it had a service, new pump, and system radiators and pipes were flushed!

thank you in anticipation

Are there specific moments when it works? Problem with heating, hot water of both?

Once cut out, you will not have either. What I meant was, what is the boiler on when it cuts out? Having said that, a lot of boilers are not on a lower setting anyway for heating, is yours?

Sounds like occasional overheat or failing flame sensing. You can try rating it down a touch, turn boiler stat down 10 degrees, and check sensor and flame sensing leads. Checking the electrical connection for good earth would not hurt either, bit of a long shot, but good earth is always good anyway
