worcester combi reset button not resetting

my wall worcesterbosch combi would fire up when hot water was turned on then make a huge clanking noise and switch off. pressure is then low so i fill it up manually to about 2 bar, reset switch and it would work. also overflow pipe inside bolier is constantly dripping. If central heating is on for a while i can get hot water then. Now i can't even press the reset button. i've bled the rads

From what you say, I don't think you should be using the boiler in that condition. You need to get a Corgi registered boiler engineer in to sort it out. One of our regulars covers NW London I think, if this is near you?
