It's a Worcester 28CDI.
The timer is set to turn on the Central Heating from 5:30 to 6:30 every morning. My girlfriend (who gets up earlier than me) tells me that every morning she has to press the red button to reset the boiler before she can have a shower. Along with this I have noticed the pressure falling over time (quicker than I would expect).
This morning we were woken by a hideous loud vibration in the pipes which was originating from the boiler (pump). Turning off the boiler stopped the noise. It resumed normal operation (hot water) after being turned back on again.
There is obviously some problem with the central heating, but what is it likely to be? The boiler was serviced in the last 6 months.
Cheers,
--Sam
