Morning all - thanks in advance for any help!

We woke up this morning with virtually zero pressure in the boiler. I managed to solve that problem using this forum and the instruction booklet, so now the pressure is at 1.5. When we demand hot water, we get it, and the pilot light comes on.

However we have no heat and the pilot light is not on. There is a remote thermostat which I have switched to manual and turn the temp to 29 degrees hoping it would kick in, but nothing. I have turned the left dial on boiler to max...nothing.

I have also tried pressing the boost button (chap carrying the ladders) but that doesn't seem to do anything either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have reset it I think - simply pressed the reset button!?

It's a Worcester Greenstar 30CDi Combi.

Press and hold that chimney sweep button for 10 secs until it is illuminated. You will get heat for 15 mins then, think you ll find your remote stat is duff, it is either faulty or needs batteries

Ok, so that kicked the heating in and the radiators are getting hot - thank you for that.

So does that mean definitively that a new thermostat is needed?

However...while boiler is kicking out heat, the hot water has ceased and it's freezing cold!?

It wont give you hot water for 15 mins its in test mode because its pushing it around your heating system.
If you have changed the batteries in the stat, then it is probs duff pal :(
