My job for the day was to sort out this nice heavy copper boiler :D
Does anyone on this site think it needs a powerflush ;)

have a similar installation in my cyprus villa.
talking to the locals there they think it is an illegal still for making mad strong spirits.
so far i am happy with it.

Nope but this weekend waspretty quiet hence my posts during the day

so far six odd months without a day off (i worked Xmas and new years too)

as to why well lets just say I am that much in the swanee

It sure is and weighs as much as a cylinder ;)
It's a back boiler behind an open fire and a real sooty pig to get at :cry:

i know my uncle had a, was it "park ray" but it had a front and door and ash tray, but that thing :LOL:

had a day off about a month ago I think and it drove me spare

always worth the weigh in they are after grafting to get them out..otherwise the darn things would stay where there are :!: :LOL:
 
I chose to drive a little way today to fix a boiler as it would have been quicker without the weekday traffic.

I had a lovely relaxing drive listening to the Diana concert.

It was a newly installed boiler and was going out on flame failure. It took me all of 3 seconds to identify the fault!

On the way back I stopped to fix a Response 120.

The HE was leaking! It turns out this is the SECOND boiler she has had. The first was replaced after a year and this replacement lasted two years! She does not want another Ideal!
