After the load distribution mode, as the spin cycle increases in speed, my machine makes a dragging noise. The machine stops spinning and goes back into load distribution mode again. It is not the normal load distribution cycle that I'm used to hearing.

Any ideas please? Thank you

When you say a "dragging" sound do you mean a scraping or knocking type of noise? It could be drum bearings on the way out, something jammed between the drum & tub, or defective motor bearings. Remove the drive belt temporarily, open the door & check by hand if there is any up/down slack on the drum. Then spin the drum manually & listen for any grinding/rumbling noises. Lastly spin the motor shaft to check the bearings on that.
