firstly thanks for any advice you can offer!

My Ideal boiler has been playing up recently and heats up the radiators regardless of the thermostat or timer switch settings.

The hot water is still working fine and it switches from "C" to "D" as it should but never displays 0 as it should (no request on the boiler).

Would the diverter valve be causing the false demand?

I have replaced the Diverter head which i can now see moving (think the old one had seized?)

Should i try the Diverter Manifold and cartridge valve next?

If so is it an easy job? Will i get wet? Any recommendations?

thanks Steve!

If its sitting in "d" for a long period of time and warming the rads then yes, i imagine the diverter cartridge is stuck.

You might get wet if not careful
I always remove pcb to a safe place when touching water components on Isars :!:
