Hi Davidsanton,
I have been searching for a workshop / repair manual for the Hyundai Atos 2002 model for quite a long time but to no avail.
The local agents in Malta for Hyundai refused to sell it to me and the Hyundai mothercompany didn't even bother to reply my mail.
At least you got a quote of the cost of the manual.
I still need to obtain this manual. Did you manage to find a cheaper repair manual for this vehicle?
Thanks also to jonnyfishing. His tehnical data is has been taken note of.
Thanks
Dav |

is the valves hydraulic on the 1998/99 atoz are these not adjustable ?
that is what i was asking, as i had to tke off all drive belts not the timing belt to replace a timing cover and changed all fluids oil included and put everything back together and now it sounds like a diesel makes a right racket, took of rocker cover and everything was as dry as a bone looks like no oil reaching tappets so thought these might want checking but are they adjustable or not ? but gonna get oil round first and then look into the rocker cover again if it still sounds like a diesel lol sorry guys i only a female who likes gettin her hands dirty lol ty ev1 |

right we have fixed the noisey engine whic is now purring not growling like a diesel lol we took off the rocker cover and did all valves inlet and gas now perfect so quiet had all new oil plus fluids changed also. now the problem i have is not with the engine Its the drive belts or pulleys that is making a noise souds like a dry pump noise sort of soft rubbing also not a clue what it could be sound seems to get louder as the engine heats up ! not there on initial start up !! left it running to see if fan kicked in and yes it did so any ideas guys thankyou. |
