Hi All,

I have tried reading around, but i couldn't understand what to do.. it seems my boiler setup is different than many... all i have is 2 switches to the boiler black switches ( one of which seems to be dripping the one on left ) and just a yellow knob which i have no idea what it is doing... any help to fix e119?

I attached my setup if anyone can help! thank you!

Can we have a clear picture of the bottom of the boiler? Use the flash to get a clear shot.

It looks initially like whoever fitted your boiler has blanked off where the filling loop should live. Actually, scrap that, the loop shouldn't be permanently left in place due to risk of contamination of clean mains water, but should be kept somewhere near the boiler - in reality they are usually left in place as there are two NRVs to prevent contamination, and they are easy to loose.

Hi steve i appreciate your reply and i will attach the picture of bottom of boiler, however i have no idea what NRV is, this is my first time dealing with such devices, so a simple explaination would be greatly appreciated! I really appreciate your help!

Sir, you have a 'system boiler' it may say Megaflow on the front of the casing, and as said the water pressure may need to be raised.

(there is a pressure gauge on the front of the boiler, around 30mm diameter with a needle pointing to it's reading, could you post a picture of this in its current position please?)

Somewhere, hopefully within sight of this pressure gauge you should find what is commonly called a 'filling loop', usually it will have a silver braided flexible hose approx 300mm long. can you also post a picture of it?

Another possible place for the filling loop to be located may be close to your Hot-water cylinder... still looking for that silvered flexible hose.

More photo's please

1st & 3rd pic.... at the 'back' is a silver hose & check valve. Take a pic of the other end. That looks like your filling loop.

In regards to the silver hose, there are two ends so there is the first with a red knob and the second with a bronze like knob as in the pictures, is that enough? Hope that helps!

Leave the red one be. Open the slot 90degrees (top pic) and inject water into system. Cold it should be 1.2 bar. If you can't see guage from there get someone to shout when its at the right pressure. Or do it bit by bit.

By the slot do you mean the bronze knob? because i tried twisting it, and it doesnt budge.. doesnt move in any direction?

Actually you can see from the design that it is stuck there i gues??

No, he means use a flat screwdriver in the slot of the fitting at the end of the silver flexible pipe in the top pic.
As soon as you turn it a little you should hear the water flowing in, make sure to turn it back off afterwards (90 degrees to the pipe as it is now).
