12v switch needed.

Hi Guys,

I need to make the following switch which would consists of:
12v dc, up to 1/3 hp, breaker and relay.

Something to look like the following:

just a guess really

1/3 HP = 750/3 = 250 Watt at 12 volt = 20 amp approx. The little square relays some times are rated at 20A but not all you would need to be careful.

A list or relays found here you can't buy direct off Durite so once you decide what you want then Google the part number.

Same page also does the plug in holders but you need the special Lucar connectors with the bit to hold them in the holder and also special crimp pliers which fold the metal tags. Scrap yard and old car may be better option.

Lucas did a 6RA relay but that was a long time ago.
