I have recently put a small patio and concrete slab down for the in-laws new hot tub.

When the tub arrived it soon became apparent that I'd built the slab a little bit too big (see the attached picture), I think my tape measure had expanded as it was a hot day.

The slab stands out a mile and I'd like to cover it with something.

I was thinking of laying a thin layer of cement and putting small stone chippings in it?

Has anyone got any better ideas?

Many thanks.
