Wiring combi boiler to spur

I thinking of replacing my combi boiler which is wired to a switched spur in the wall. Does the wire going from this spur just contain live neutral and earth wired to the boiler. Thanks for any help.

But, not unheard of to find 4 core or more used with the spare cores capped off. :)

Or a 5 core if the stat is wired to the boiler too through the same flex.
 
OK reason I ask is because I'm thinking of wiring it up myself. I'll be OK if its 3core. But not if its 4core any way of checking this without UN-wiring much. Thanks for your quick replies.

you could have a look inside the sw fused spur.
 
yes, see how many wires are in the cable from the sw spur to the boiler.

look carefully to see if there are more than 3 cores.
