thanx 4 reply ,no the water is leaking from where the "plunger" comes out to activate the switch ,sorry do not know the tecnical term for that part

Is this a common problem? That's the same problem I have-water leaking from the plunger pin, behind the domestic hot water micro switch.

The housing that that plunger is mounted in, has 4 small screws on it. What would happen if they were taken off?

Just a note, but on the 100e instruction manual, it says to remove 2 carriage screws on the front of the heat exchanger. Dont do it, otherwise you get awful knocking noises everytime the boiler fires up.

Let me know if you get any joy
