I have a master plug 10 meter coiled extension leas with 4 sockets on it. It has built in thermal cutout. Is it safe to run a 4 way surge protector and some other computers ups etc off it.

Thanks

Should be safe enough to supply IT equipt as the current they use is generally very small, but get into the habit of uncoiling the cable completely as coiled up they will generate heat by mutual inductance

Actually this inductance thing is a bit of a myth with extension leads- the magnitude of the circulating currents and heating are only very slightly different between coiled and uncoiled states, as the pairs of live and neutral wires tend to cancel each others magnetic fields anyway.
- What is massively different is the amount of cable surface area exposed and able to shed the heat into the air - and therefore the temperature rise that the (almost unchanged) amount of heat can cause, is a few trivial degrees when uncoiled, can become a few tens of degrees coiled up - and so far more serious.
There can be serious inductive effects if live and neutral currents do not follow the same route however, and in that case it needs ot be watched, particualry with ferro-magnetic metals about (so people should worry about cables passing unbalanced currents through metal boxes for example.)

Just the link I was going to post, do you read the blue room electrical forum?
