I have an Essentials electric shower and recently it cuts out the heating and the hot warning light goes on. I have tried modifying settings, but nothing makes a difference. I am sure an electrical component has 'given up' but I don't know which. Can anybody help?
Or if the shower is "of an age" then it's almost certainly a furred-up heater can. Technically repairable, but the sensible practicality is a new shower.
The unit is about 3 years old and I was thinking of replacing it, but I just thought that if the present unit was easily repairable, it would be less work than installing a new one.
Thanks guys.
I've included a picture. They say a picture is worth a thousand words!!
