Floor tiling around toilet
Reply with quote Thanks

Ok im going to be tiling a bathroom, and just wondering about the toilet.

Do i fit it and tile around it on the floor? or tile all the floor first and fit the WC on top of the tiles? the walls are all going to be tiled also.

thanks

thought so, makes more sense thanks.

also one other question

im tiling onto a normal wooden tounge and grooved floor, do i need to put ply down or can i grout straight onto it? or is it best to put ply down to get a more level surface?

thanks

Use exterior plywood (WPB) with plenty of screws

If you want to keep the floor level the same then best to take up the old flooring + noggins on each joint of the plywood
