I loved this sink and had to get it.
http://www.worldofbaths.co.uk/wobitem/4970

The only problem is, I don't want any pipes to be visable. I can plumb the tap connectors inside the wall no problem. But how do I get a 45 degree sink to connect a 45 degree waste pipe without it looking like a bodge?

Also, The waste pipe isn't a standard size, no sure how to plumb into that. Flexible waste maybe?

Anyone got any experience in this or ideas?

Cheers, Sam.

i recall fitting one of these. i ended up getting a new waste cos the provided waste did not screw onto uk traps.

the waste need not go through at an angle...could left or right strsaight through the wall......if you want it angled then its more work and no easy solution.

if you end up having to use some none chromed waste pipe, b and q sell chromed waste pipe, traps and even have chrome spray paint that looks good enough

I'm thinking of boxing off a 45 degree bit under the sink, running all the pipes up it. But then its getting the angle down, I'm starting to think I may get an adaptor machined up at work.

Will put pics in the project area when I get around to it.

possible solution

Duck Tape.

Wrap enough around the chrome pipe to fit into a push fit 90 bend.

When it moves and it shouldn't... Duck tape.

Firstly, it's a basin, not a sink, just in case you want to visit a plumbers' merchant and not make yourself look like a complete spanner.

Secondly, could you explain what you mean by a "45 degree basin"? The picture from your link is of a glass bowl sitting on a box, but this doesn't mean that anything has to run at 45° to anything, so I'm not clear what the problem is.

BTW, duct tape is no answer to anything that gets wet.
