Hope you can help me.

The hot water on my boiler works fine but the CH is not heating the radiators despite it looking like its working. The pipes at the back heat up but as I follow it round it cools.

Someone has mentioned it possibly being a stuck diverter valve or a problem with the water pump.

I've bled all radiators and still no joy.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Did you actually turn the heating on?
Why does it look like it is working? :?

yes what I mean is..the heating comes on by the boilers point of view i.e. you can see the symbols and temperature rise and hear it heating water. The pipes at the back even warm up but the radiators don't warm up.

That is not what I meant. Did YOU turn the CH on?
What temperature does it indicate when it starts? What when it stops?

No the thermostat turns it on automatically. Or when I press the ON button on the front so that the timer is bypassed.

It heats indefinitely...upto 93 degrees (when set at 90)

Set the timer to OFF.
Set the thermostat to 10C.
Turn the boiler completely off by pulling the plug out or switching the spur off for 10 minutes.
Turn back on and see what happens.
