brandnew smeg dishwasher not draining

hi, i just has a brandnew smeg dishwasher installed. put on the first cycle and it wont drain. the fault code E6 appears which is "water pumpout malfunction" i checked the drain, no kink ect, and the hose isnt blocked . anyone able to help me, PLEASE!

If it is brand new you don't want to void your warranty by digging around inside the machine. Check again for plumbing problems or wrong installation. If you find none claim a warranty repair/replacement.

did you connect it to a spigot on the sink waste trap? did you first cut off the top of the spigot first to open it up? or did you just stuff the dishwasher hose on the end?

if its open, unscrew it and check it isnt capped inside.

is the waste pipe kinked ??
